FC Air Gap Variable Attenuator (0-20dB)

The Air Gap Variable Attenuator has a ceramic alignment sleeve that provides a low insertion loss of .15dB and can be used on both multimode and singlemode applications. Attenuation range is 0dB to 20dB.

The attenuator comes with an included tool that provides ability to increase attenuation level to desired “level”.

Device may replace mating sleeve at the patchpanel, enabling variable attenuation levels to be introduced to the system.

The type of variable attenuator can be installed at the distribution panels or connecting two patchcords to become in-line attenuator application. By fine tuning the air gap width, the user can easily adjust the attenuation value when using in conjunction with power meter.
