The Fibrlok II Universal Splice can be used with either single-mode or multimode fibers with a cladding diameter of 125 microns. It will accommodate any combination of fibers with coating diameters from 250 mm to 900 mm. In addition, the Universal Optical Fiber Splice incorporates a single cleave length for splicing both 250 and 900 micron coated fibers and provides the ability to "re-position" fibers for increased splicing yields.
