When only one fiber in a multifiber buffer tube is broken it is wise to repair this fiber at the location it is damaged. This mid-access tool is designed perfectly for this purpose. It cuts through the buffer tube without nicking enclosed fibers so you can access the damaged fiber.
This item will work on 2.4mm to 3mm buffer tubes. For even larger size tubes please use UAT-3000.
