FSM-50S is the world fasted core alignment splicer with a splicing time of 9 seconds and heat shrink time of 35 seconds. Unprecedented size, light weight and ruggedness make it the first core alignment splicer truly optimized for field use even in FTTH applications.
Designed for splicing single optical fibers, the FSM-50S is equipped with PAS (profile alignment system) for precise core-to-core fiber alignment, enabling consistent low splice loss and accurate loss estimation regardless of fiber type or quality. The 5.6 inch TFT color LCD display allows a clear view of the fiber and splice with a magnification of 295X for X or Y views, 147X for X and Y views. Additional features include 100 programmable splicing modes and 2000 splices in memory.
The reversible monitor adds flexibility to the FSM-50S and accommodates the userĘs ergonomic preference. With a control panel on each side, the ease of use is phenomenal.
