This handheld dual 1310nm/1550nm single mode laser source provides a stable source for use in point-to-point attenuation measurements. The lightweight and rugged design is built for demanding cable installation environments.
The auto wavelength switching mode synchronizes the light source with a GN-6025 series Power Meter or Loss Test Set and automatically switching between 2 wavelengths. The user is able to store 2 loss readings and increment to the next fiber with only a single button press for the easiest and fastest results available.
This unit utilizes 9/125um SMF-28 single mode fiber and the output can be switched between continuous wave and 2kHz modulated wave. Output power is greater than -8dBm.
Source linewidth is <5nm with power stability at +/-0.1dB over a 8 hours time range.
It also features all the industry standard adapters such as FC/UPC, SC/UPC, ST, D4, E2000, FC/APC and SC/APC. Please remember to choose your desired adapter when ordering.
