Designed for precision and safety, the assembly utilizes 3mm jacketed cable to provide robust protection in data center, telecommunications, and enterprise network environments.

The E2000 connectors are engineered with an integrated shutter system that automatically closes when the connector is disconnected. This mechanism serves two primary purposes: it prevents exposure to potentially harmful high-power laser emissions and protects the internal ceramic ferrule from dust, debris, and physical damage, ensuring long-term signal integrity.

Key Features

Integrated Shutter System
Features a spring-loaded shutter in the E2000 connector housing that automatically protects the ferrule and personnel from laser exposure.

Corning® SMF-28® Ultra Fiber
Utilizes industry-standard singlemode glass for low attenuation and high signal transmission quality.

UPC Polish
Ultra Physical Contact (UPC) finish ensures precise alignment and reduced back-reflection.

3mm Simplex Jacket
Provides a durable outer layer for protection during installation and everyday handling.

Blue Housing Color
Standardized color coding for quick identification as a singlemode assembly.

Precision Termination
Factory-terminated to maintain strict loss tolerances.

Applications

Data center interconnects

High-power laser transmission systems

Telecommunications infrastructure

Enterprise local area networks

Secure fiber optic environments

Technical Specifications

Specification

Value

Manufacturer

Corning

Part Number

S3EUEUS3FISC

Connector A

E2000/UPC

Connector B

E2000/UPC

Fiber Type

Singlemode (SMF-28® Ultra)

Cable Type

Simplex

Cable Diameter

3mm

Cable Length

3 Meters

Connector Features

Integrated Shutter, Blue Housing

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the benefit of an E2000 shutter?
The integrated shutter protects the fiber end-face from dust and contamination while also preventing accidental exposure to laser light.

Is this compatible with standard LC connectors?
No, E2000 connectors have a distinct form factor and are not directly compatible with LC adapters.

What type of fiber is used in this cable?
This cable uses Corning® SMF-28® Ultra singlmode fiber, which is optimized for high-performance network applications.

Can I order this in a different length?
Yes, custom configurations and alternate lengths are available; please contact for additional options.

Is this a duplex or simplex cable?
This is a simplex cable consisting of a single fiber strand.

https://www.fiberoptics4sale.com/products/e2000-to-e2000-upc-upc-3-meter-simplex-singlemode-patch-cord
