The order wire module allows installation of a telephone set along the FMUX04 multiplexer.
The telephone set will provide voice connection to remote optical multiplexer, where a similar module must be installed.
The FMUX04-OW is useful for quick troubleshooting and communication between remote technician and central station during maintenance cycles or when a service in the area is required.
Keeping two handsets at each multiplexer will allow the operation of handsets in hot wire mode: when one handset goes off hook, the remote handset starts ringing. When remote answers, voice channel is established as long as phones are kept off hook.
