The Fluke Networks® NFC-SWABS-2.5MM contains 50 SC and ST 2.5-mm port cleaning swabs. They are ideal for 2.5 mm bulkheads and tight spaces. Lint-free material enables optimal wet/dry cleaning sequence. Use the swabs with solvent to ensure all fiber end-faces are clean before every mating. This combination eliminates contamination and fiber link failure.

• Swabs may be used with the NFC-Cube Cleaning Cube with Wipes.
• After pulling a clean wipe from cube, apply a small spot of solvent to starting edge of wipe.
• Touch swab to wet spot on wipe for 3 seconds to absorb a minimal amount of solvent.
• A damp swab works better than a wet one.
• Applying solvent from pen directly to swab would use excessive solvent. Insert swab into port and turn several times while applying gentle pressure.
• Follow damp swab with dry one, using same procedure to remove any remaining solvent from end-face and alignment sleeve.
