ConnectX-5 MCX516A-CCAT Ethernet network interface card provides two ports of 100GbE connectivity, 750ns latency, up to 148 million messages per second (Mpps). For storage workloads, the 100 Gigabit Ethernet adapter card delivers a range of innovative accelerations, such as Signature Handover (T10-DIF) in hardware, an embedded PCIe Switch, and NVMe over Fabric target offloads to reduce CPU resource consumption and drive extremely high packet rates and throughput.

This boosts data center infrastructure efficiency and provides the highest performance and most flexible solution for Web 2.0, Cloud, Data Analytics and Storage platforms.
Note: PCIe 3.0 x16 bus can supply a maximum bandwidth of 128Gb/s only (=16 * 8GT/s, including overhead), and therefore cannot support 200Gb/s when both network ports of MCX516A-CCAT run at 100Gb/s.
