The power meter, that’s calibrated to test six different wavelengths for dBm power and dB loss is coupled with our unique duplex LC/UPC optical light source.

The fixed duplex LC port on the source allows each of the 1310 & 1550nm wavelengths to operate independently out of separate ports which is convenient.

You can also use the 2kHz tone modulation feature for fiber identification purposes. You can even have both sources operate simultaneously; with one wavelength being constant while the other wavelength modulates.

This kit also comes with our connector ferrule cleaner as well as the necessary patch cables, mating sleeves and adapters needed when testing for dB loss with any standard connector style.
