These multiplexers can combine up to 16 T1, 16 POTS and various sync/async serial interfaces such as V.35, X.21, R530, RS-449 and RS-232, plus a fixed 4 port Gigabit Ethernet switch over a single fiber circuit.
Interface modules are interchangeable and main chassis supports dual redundant and hot swappable power supplies. The FMUX-1001 is 19"rack mountable and occupies 1RU of rack space only.
