Up to 16 T1/E1 capacity Fiber Multiplexers

The FMUX1001 is a flexible solution for transmission of Gigabit Ethernet, DS1/T1 or E1, synchronous serial data ports or POTS telephone ports over a single fiber circuit.

This multiplexer allows both up 16 E1 or T1 interfaces or serial data ports and up to 4 different Gigabit Ethernet ports to go over a single fiber optic circuit. They also offers enhanced protection and redundancy for fiber optic critical applications.

Multiplexers supports fiber optic protection redundancy with 2 separate optical modules that are hot swappable and able to switch main fiber link to alternate backup in less than 50ms, once failure is detected on main connection. Both versions have also power supply backup with 2 independent, hot-swappable power supply units.

In addition, the FMUX1001 has built-in SNMP management, built-in 1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet switch w/ true 1000Mbps full duplex speed and ability to also transport plain regular telephone lines (POTS).

Modular multiplexers with fiber optic redundancy and power supply redundancy options are available in this series. FMUX1001 model carries up to 16 T1 or E1, Gigabit Ethernet, POTS and datacom. SFPs for all types of fiber connectivity are available.
