AFL Universal Splice Tray – 24F Single Fusion + 48F Mass Fusion Configuration

The AFL Universal Splice Tray is a flexible, mixed-splicing solution designed for field environments where both single-fiber and ribbon splicing methods are required within the same closure. By combining dedicated single-fiber fusion management with dual-ribbon mass fusion capability, this tray allows technicians to adapt quickly to varying network designs, upgrade paths, and restoration scenarios.

This configuration is especially useful in distribution and access networks where legacy single fibers and newer ribbon fibers coexist. Integrated VHB tape support also enables secure mounting of mechanical splices when fusion splicing is not practical, providing additional versatility without changing hardware.
