The Mini Unmanaged 10Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter transparently connects 100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10GBase-T Ethernet links over multimode or single mode fiber, up to 100km transmission distance. Its integration of Link Fault Pass-through (LFP) technology promotes efficient network maintenance and reduces downtime.

It provides an economical path to extend Ethernet data transmission distances or convert network speeds, suitable for data center cloud computing, enterprise backbone, campus networks and carrier infrastructure.

The FS-UMC-1S1T-R is small and lightweight, supporting desk and chassis installation. It's also compatible with various transceiver modules, such as general 10GBase SFP+, BIDI and CWDM transceiver modules, etc.

Be sure that the wavelength, speed rate, and the distance of the transceiver modules used at the both ends of the media converter are consistent.
