This silicone grease is very popular as a general laboratory lubricant and is commonly used as a stopcock grease, to lubricate synthetic or silicone rubber gaskets, or at glass-to-rubber boundaries.
However, it should not be used on fluorosilicone O-rings and gaskets. In addition, the lubricant can also be used for a wide array of non-vacuum applications such as the lubrication of water-treating equipment, general laboratory equipment, or O-rings for binoculars and telescopes.
