The VIAVI 2325/34 SmartClass™ OLTS-85 Multimode Optical Loss Test Set is used for tier 1 fiber certification. It performs specific tests for a fiber optic link or channel: measuring the length and optical loss, as well as checking the polarity of the installed fiber optic links. The OPM offers a high dynamic range (-75 to +15 dBm) for professional auto pass/fail fiber inspection and optical power measurements from 800 to 1700 nm wavelengths. The LED light source with 850/1300 nm wavelengths features an adjustable output level (-22 to -25 dBm), tone generator (270 Hz, 1 kHz, and 2 kHz), plus CW, tone, auto-λ & multi-λ modes. The OLTS-85 has a high-contrast 3.5" color touch-screen LCD and data storage for up to 10,000 loss test results.
The 2325/34 multimode kit includes local and remote test sets, li-ion battery pack, AC/DC power supply, USB cable, carry case and test reference cords (FC-LC, LC-LC).
