3M 4460DFO Scotchlok Shield Bond Connector Assembly.
The 4460-D/FO shield bond connector is specifically designed to meet the bonding needs of fiber optic cables that contain metallic or fiberglass strength members. The connector is a version of the 4460-D connector assembly which utilizes two additional plates to capture and secure the strength members.
Its current-carrying capacity is equal to or better than aluminum-shielded fiber optic cable and can be used on all cables with 20.3 mm (0.8") or smaller O.D.
Scotchlok Shield Bond Connector Assembly provides grounding for armored fiber optic cables and fiber optic cable with metallic strength members.
One shield bond connector for each cable. The component parts are as follows: Connector Top, Connector Bottom, Lock Cap, Extension Bracket, Fiber Protector, and Securing Nuts.
