POE-10G-DIN - Full 8 pin Cat6A RJ45 10G Ethernet surge protector with PoE support and DIN rail mount system
The newest 10G Ethernet surge protector, the POE-10G-DIN is an in-line RJ45 10G Ethernet Cat6 cable surge protector that can be attached to a DIN rail system. It installs simply on a Cat5, Cat 5e, Cat6 or Cat6A 4 twisted pair cable.
Device is using special diodes and gas discharge modules for effective lightning protection. It protects any RJ45 10G or slower Ethernet device like switches, DSL modems, routers, computers, etc. while allowing PoE 802.3af/at powered cables to pass through the PoE power to remote cameras or WiFi/VoIP equipment.
The PoE feature allows protection of the expensive CO equipment against lightning and other industrial power surges.
When installed on a DIN rail, 17 such protectors can be put side by side in a 19" wide DIN rail mounted on a rack. For 35mm DIN rails, please check the related items for mounting protectors on a rack including the DINRAIL-19.
Earthing bars for 10 units are sold separately. These bars connect the grounding of all DIN rail installed protectors and then provide a single point for grounding to the electrical ground.

Note: This special surge protector version does SUPPORT the IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standard (Power over Ethernet). You can use such protector on PoE active cabling. The compatibility is assured with the IEEE 802.3af/at standard by supporting a much higher clamping voltage of 58V.
