In this video, we are introducing one lightweight hand held single mode light source.
Let's turn it on. It has a back lighting button see the screen better. It also has a auto-off button, once we turn it on, it will automatically shut off after 10 minutes.
This light source has two single mode lasers built-in, we can switch between 1310nm and 1550nm. The mode button switches between differnt pulse mode, we can switch between 0 Hertz, which is steady continuous mode, or 270 Hertz, 1000 Hertz, 2000 Hertz.

Let's plug one FC cable into the light source, and plug in the other end to the power meter. The laser is 1550nm at continuous mode, and the power meter is reading it as -5.88 dBm or 263 micron watts.
