By positioning the enclosure 3.5 inches deeper than the standard mounting depth, the adapter improves front-panel alignment, helps protect front-facing connectors, and delivers a more professional rack appearance. The brackets attach directly to compatible 8RU rack mount enclosures and install without modification.
