Overview
The AFL CLETOP 8500-10-0015MZ is a white tape replacement reel specifically engineered for use with the Classic CLETOP ferrule cleaning cassettes. This replacement system enables the continuous maintenance of fiber optic connectors by ensuring that technicians have a fresh, effective cleaning surface readily available.
Utilizing a specialized 2-µm fiber weave dry cloth, this tape effectively lifts contaminants such as oil, grease, and dust from ferrule surfaces through capillary action, trapping particles within its micro pockets. This method provides a more thorough cleaning process compared to standard 15-µm fiber weave cleaners, which can often leave residual debris behind. It is intended for field and data center environments where maintaining optimal signal integrity is critical.
