The AFL Noyes OFI-400C Optical Fiber Identifier is for use with single mode fibers including 250µm & 900µm, but is specifically designed for 2mm & 3mm jacketed single mode fibers. It detects and measures core power levels of optical signals. Live fiber detection helps avoid technician induced outages and interruptions. This device features an optical head design with a 2-position plunger.
The OFI-400C fiber identifier comes with batteries, user's guide and soft carry case. Powered by 1.5 V AAA batteries, this device is designed to be energy efficient, it can make thousands of fiber tests before needing battery replacement.
