The meter utilizes a highly accurate silicon photodiode sensor paired with an integrated optical filter. It provides precision readings up to 20,000 foot-candles (fc) or 200,000 lux with a high resolution of 0.01 fc/lux. Additional diagnostic features include data hold, min/max recording, and a zeroing function to easily null the display before taking a new measurement.
