The Corning 80611622004 Crimplok™+ SC/APC Single Mode Connector (250/900µm) features 0.25 dB insertion loss and < -60 dB reflectance. The field termination process is fast and easy, without a splice, gel or adhesive. The Corning 8700-AT/APC connector has a GREEN housing and WHITE boot.
Each Crimplok™+ SC/APC fiber connector features a round-shape protrusion setting cap and is sold in a package of 60 which includes a Crimplok+ Activation Tool. This activation tool is designed to simplify the fiber termination process and reduce tooling components. To install, the fiber is cleaved, inserted through the connector and locked in place using the Crimplok+ Activation tool and round-shape protrusion setting cap.
