EPO-TEK® 353ND is a high-temperature, two-part epoxy adhesive formulated for demanding optical, semiconductor, hybrid microelectronics, and medical device applications. Its black coloration provides excellent opacity in both visible (VIS) and infrared (IR) wavelengths, making it an ideal choice for fiber optic and optoelectronic assemblies where stray light suppression and optical isolation are critical.
This heat-curing epoxy combines strong mechanical performance with excellent thermal stability, maintaining reliable bond strength in elevated-temperature environments. The pourable liquid consistency allows for easy dispensing and processing, while its high glass transition temperature supports long-term performance in challenging operating conditions.
Supplied as an 8 oz kit containing both resin and hardener components, EPO-TEK 353ND is widely used for fiber optic packaging, photonic devices, semiconductor assembly, and medical instrumentation.
