The Fluke Networks DSX2-8000 Copper Certification Kit, equipped with a wireless DSX CableAnalyzer, provides a comprehensive testing and certification solution for modern twisted-pair copper cabling networks. Designed to meet stringent ANSI/TIA-1152-A Level 2G requirements for measurement accuracy, this platform is capable of certifying TIA Category 5 through 8, as well as ISO/IEC Class C through FA and I/II cabling systems.
Beyond standard loss and cross-talk testing, the DSX2-8000 enables critical resistance unbalance measurements, ensuring that cabling systems can successfully support advanced Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications without degraded performance. It intuitively identifies and graphically displays the physical source of failures, plus screen continuity along the path of the cabling, streamlining troubleshooting. Test data management and comprehensive reporting are fully supported via the included LinkWare software and ProjX management system.
