The Franklin Electric Energy Systems CGS3-06V-WD is a dedicated 6V battery sensor module designed as an essential component of the CELLGUARD™ Wired Battery Monitoring System (BMS). This sensor is engineered to provide precise, continuous measurement of individual battery parameters, specifically voltage, temperature, and internal resistance. When integrated with the CGBC-350-HWD Base Coordinator Unit, it facilitates comprehensive system analysis and reliably transmits diagnostic data via its communication ports.

Drawing operational power directly from the monitored 6V lead-acid battery (6V @ 7mA), this sensor reduces the need for independent external power supplies while ensuring uninterrupted monitoring. It is equipped with a status indicator light, a dedicated battery connection port for the cable harness, and dual communication ports (COM1 and COM2) for daisy-chaining multiple sensors in a string configuration.

Installation Warning: This module is voltage-specific. It must be installed exclusively on 6V lead-acid batteries. Application on batteries with different voltage ratings can result in permanent damage to the sensor unit.
