KNIPEX 9516165 Insulated Cable Shears, 6-1/2"

The KNIPEX® 95 16 165 6-1/2" Cable Shears are designed for cutting solid, multicore and finely stranded copper and aluminum cables up to 50 mm². The tool features a chrome-plated head and VDE-tested handles, insulated with multi-component covers. Made of high-grade special tool steel, forged, and oil-hardened, the cable shears have precision-ground, hardened blades and an adjustable bolted joint, self-retaining screw. A pinch guard prevents injuries.

The cutting tool is 6-1/2" long and weighs 0.58 lb. It is tested to 1000V and meets ASTM F1505-07 and DIN EN/IEC 60900 standards.

Note: This tool is NOT suitable for steel wire and hard drawn copper conductors.
