The EXFO MAX‑945‑SM1 is a high-performance Optical Loss Test Set (OLTS) designed for Tier‑1 single-mode fiber certification at 1310 nm and 1550 nm wavelengths. This model features an integrated PM2X high-power optical power meter, equipped with a GeX detector capable of handling high optical input levels — ideal for amplified DWDM networks, CATV, and long-haul systems.

Built with field technicians in mind, this OLTS supports EA APC connectors and includes a swappable SC adapter, a North American power cordset, and a MAX-900 series semi-rigid carrying case for field deployment.
