OPC-1300 - Optical Path Converter (fiber saver) for 1310nm wavelengths converts a duplex circuit to a single fiber circuit, passive and speed independent device
OPC-1300 device is a passive unit that works without any external power.
Without changing any existing optical network deployment, the OPC-1300 can convert the wavelength of a dual-fiber bidirectional light transmission (2 strand) to single-fiber bidirectional transmission light(1 strand), and it can use the same wavelength for bidirectional transmission over the single fiber.
Using the OPC-1300 the fiber capacity can be doubled without any additional physical fiber requirements.
Features:
- Convert any light wavelength from dual-core fiber to single-core fiber
- Passive model requires no power
- Protocol transparent, no limitation
- Connect to active and passive optical interfaces
- No wavelength and data rate limitation
- Number of WDM ports can be increased and decreased any time.
The OPC-1300 device supports any optical wavelength in the 1263nm ~ 1378nm range and has LC/UPC connectors.
