Tempo 801K Premium Tone and Probe Kit
The Tempo 801K Premium Tone and Probe Kit is engineered for accurate wire identification, tracing, and locating in telecommunications and data networks. This kit pairs the 77HP/6A High-Power Tone Generator with the 200 FP Filter Probe to reliably trace wiring even through low-resistance circuits. The 200 FP inductive amplifier is designed with specialized filtering to stop power line hum and block AC interference, ensuring clear tone reception in electrically noisy environments.
Equipped with bent nose J.S. Popper 6A type piercing clips and a modular connector, the generator provides a +7 dBm output capable of transmitting up to 50,000 feet. The output tone is fully isolated from all DC voltages, protecting the equipment and ensuring safe compatibility with ESS, Step, and Crossbar systems. Tests can be detected via audio or LED indicators for straightforward visual and acoustic diagnostics.
