The TH-MS102 right angle plate has a central #8 (M4) through hole and four precision machined dowel holes on each of its two mounting surfaces. The TH-MS102, with the use of the dowels, allows an MS1(-M) to be vertically mounted so that the surface of the stage is orthogonal, within 2 mrad, to the horizontal plane. Two hardened steel alignment dowel pins are provided with each bracket
