Frequently Asked Questions
What does the OM4 rating indicate?
OM4 is a laser-optimized multimode fiber standard designed for 10Gbps, 40Gbps, and 100Gbps transmission speeds over longer distances compared to OM2 or OM3.
Is this cable suitable for outdoor use?
No, this is a plenum-rated cable designed for indoor use. Outdoor-rated cables require specific water-blocking and UV-resistant jackets.
Can I order this in a specific length?
Yes, this product is sold by the meter to meet your specific project length requirements.
Are other jacket types available?
Yes, riser-rated and Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) versions can be provided upon request.
How are the 72 fibers organized?
The fibers are grouped into 12-fiber subunits to facilitate easy identification and termination during the install process.
